Do you jump out of bed ... Continued
In order to become a passionate advocate you must compare your personal mission, vision, values, objectives, and goals to that of the organization. By examining the following you can determine how they align:
Mission: Why we exist
Vision: Where we are going in the long-term
Values: The rules which guide us through that journey
Objectives: The milestones that need to be met to reach
that vision
Goals: The specific steps that need to happen to attain
these milestones
If they don’t align, then you should be a catalyst for change in order to make your organization one you can be passionate about. If that is impossible, get out and find an organization that fits you better. If all else fails, start your own.
Let’s work together to make the world an extraordinary place to work, one brand at a time. I am spreading the word because it is what I am passionate about. How about you? Will you jump out of bed?
Happy New Year!
